First Dynamic Cup Inline Skating Speed ​​Championship concluded



Bhaktapur, may 14/ The one-day First Dynamic Cup Inline Skating Speed ​​Championship was concluded on Saturday at Kathmandu World School in Gundu, Bhaktapur.

Players from junior and senior schools participated in the competition. In the competition, Mitrashri School won the first trophy, Janapremi School won the second trophy, and Shiward School won the third trophy. 250 players from these three schools participated.

There were 6 matches each for women and men in the 300-meter race. Players from the age groups of 6 to 8, 8 to 10, 10 to 12, 12 to 14, 14 to 16, and 16 to 18 played the skating speed championship in the competition.

Out of them, 36 people won medals and certificates by securing the first, second, and third positions. The competition was jointly organized by Dynamic Skate Club Bhaktapur and Nepal Skating and Skateboarding Association.

Speaking at the event, former member secretary of the National Sports Council, Tankalal Ghising, discussed the possibility of skating being selected for the Olympics as it is becoming very popular. He was also of the opinion that students and parents should pay attention to the development of this sport as it has the possibility of being selected for the Olympics.

The event was chaired by club president Rojan Bhasima. At the event, former member secretary of the National Sports Council, Ghising, chief coach Dilipraj Baral, association president Achyut Khanal, general secretary Satya Thapa, advisor Saunak Bhatta, skate brand ambassador Sasanju Shrestha, roller hockey team manager Sabi DC, Kathmandu World School senior director Dr. Vidya Adhikari, director Yankila Lama and others distributed medals, trophies and certificates to the winners.
