Gyan Sanskar Wins Team Championship



Kathmandu/ The organizer, Gyan Sanskar International School (Samakhusi Chowk, Kathmandu), has won the title of the 3rd Gyan Sanskar Inter-School National Skate Competition. The competition was held in coordination with the Nepal Skating and Skateboarding Association.

In the event, Shree Shiva Nursing Education Institute secured second place, while Alakapuri School finished third.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Principal of Gyan Sanskar, Nilam Baniya Badu, expressed her gratitude to all participating schools, athletes, and parents.

Principal Badu stated that the competition played a vital role in promoting the sport of skating at the school level. She expressed her belief that such events would inspire students to progress toward national and international sports platforms.

The President of the Skateboarding Association, Achyut Khanal, remarked that sports help develop discipline, health, and a competitive spirit.

The competition took place on the premises of Gyan Sanskar and saw the participation of over 200 athletes from more than 30 schools across the Kathmandu Valley.

Earlier on Saturday, the one-day event was inaugurated by Rajeev Shrestha, General Secretary of the Nepal Olympic Committee.
