Speed ​​Skate Championship concluded



Lalitpur, Kartik 29 / The junior and senior Vidya games under the one-day Glide Faced Skate Speed ​​Championship 2025 were held at the UN Park in Lalitpur on Saturday.

The game was jointly organized by the Nepal Skating and Skateboarding Association and Glide City.

According to Satya Thapa, General Secretary of the Nepal Skating and Skateboarding Association, 50 players participated in both Vidya games under the open championship.

In the competition, the players played in a six-foot tackle of 150 meters for the juniors and 250 meters for the seniors.

In which, Subash Shrestha came first, Anje Sherpa came second and Subarna Adhikari came third in the juniors, while Ramu Tharu came first, Bipin Magar came second and Aryan came third in the seniors.

Former Sports Minister Maheshwor Singh Gahatraj, Nepal Skating and Skateboarding Association President Achyut Khanal, and head coach Dilip Raj Baral presented cash, medals, and certificates to the winning athletes.

Glide City owner Basanta Panta presented Mayo Chino to the guests at the event.

Earlier, while inaugurating the competition, Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevan Ram Shrestha said that skating has a bright future as it attracts children and youth.

The judging panel for the junior and senior disciplines under the Glide Faced Skate Speed ​​Championship 2025 included head coach Dilip Raj Baral, national players Kripa Pant, Yogina Shrestha, Muskan Magar, and Prayas Khadka.
